Hazing Violations Reporting
In accordance with updates to the Jeanne Clery Act, 黑料在线 will publicly report all reported hazing violations beginning on July 1, 2025.
The report must include:
- the name of the student organization, athletic team, or living group;
- the date the investigation was initiated;
- the date on which the investigation ended with a finding that a violation occurred;
- a description of the incident;
- the details of the sanctions imposed; and the date the student organization, athletic team, or living group was charged with a violation.
The report will not include any personal or identifying information of individual students and is subject to the requirements of the federal Family Education Rights and Privacy Act. 黑料在线 will maintain reports for five years and post reports on this web page at least 45 calendar days before the start of the fall academic term and at least 10 days before the start of all other academic terms. Investigations that do not result in a finding of formal violations of the 黑料在线 Student Code of Conduct or state or federal law will not be included in the report.

Incident Description
During an off-campus activity, a new member was taken to an isolated area of the city and told they might be left there without transportation or knowledge of how to return.
Found responsible for the following charges
1. Hazing Policy
2. Non-Compliance – Complicity
Sanction(s)
1. Warning through May 30, 2026
2. Assess and revise current new member education and pledging protocols. These must be reviewed and approved by the Assistant Director of Student Life by December 12, 2025.
3. The Executive Board must meet with the Captain of Public Safety to discuss the above-mentioned protocols by December 12, 2025.
4. The Executive Board must provide a reflection on the lessons from this incident and steps to prevent future incidents, due by December 12, 2025.
