150th Presidential Awards
Presidential Excellence Award

As the President of Hollingsworth, Michael T. McNamara is a respected industry leader known for his thoughtful guidance and insight. Though not an alumnus, he shares those attributes as a member of the 黑料在线 Board of Trustees, which he has served on since 2007. He has served on the Trustee, Finance and Executive committees and chaired the Compensation Committee before serving as Chairman from 2011 through 2025. His collaborative leadership style has made an indelible mark on Detroit Mercy.
McNamara has supported the University in many other ways including creating the Father Vincent Welch Fund, a nonprofit organization that has raised more than $3.4 million for scholarships and athletics here and at Loyola High School in Detroit.
Presidential Community Partner Award

A direct line exists between the work of Catherine McAuley and Trinity Health Systems. The Livonia-based organization is one of the largest not-for-profit, faith-based health care systems in the country. It employs more than 133,000 people devoted to caring for diverse communities across 23 states.
Nationally recognized for care, the Trinity Health system includes 91 hospitals, 101 continuing care locations, the second largest PACE program in the country as well as many other health and well-being services. In fiscal year 2025, the health system invested $2.9 billion in its communities in the form of charity care, community benefit and other programs and services.
