Biography
Professor Yang earned both her Master of Science in Accounting and her Ph.D. from the University of Memphis. She has professional experience as an accountant and financial manager, and teaches introductory and upper level financial and managerial accounting. Her research interests include corporate governance, the accounting treatment of research and development costs, corporate R&D investment behaviors, accounting career interests, etc. As an active researcher, she has published articles in Journal of Accounting and Finance, Journal of Business and Behavioral Sciences, Journal of Contemporary Business Issues, Journal of Finance and Accountancy, and other professional journals. She joined the University in 2011.
